Gotcha Day!!

Very emotional and wonderful beginning for our family that is now 5...

Gotcha day for the Braces

Our new daughter and the panda is coming, too...

Spent some time getting to know each other while
paperwork is signed

Stopped at the grocery for a few things...
When we returned to the hotel...she was all for changing 
into a new outfit and trying on new shoes.   Her nanny had told me earlier 
that she liked new outfits and new shoes which made me smile...
And...Meili found her birthday tutu and tiara in the suitcase 
 and indicated that she wanted to wear it.
 It's not her birthday yet(10/25), but, who cares?  Life is short, everyone!!...

After bath and in my pjs with my favorite
music box... Goodnight family.  
She's such  a sweetie pie and has a super cute personality!  The agency's update said that she was timid and shy so that is what we were expecting.  That lasted about two hours and then she took over and started trying to tell us what to do.   We complied as best we could understand the Mandarin Chinese:)  She is so observant and watches every move we make, a smart girl...So happy that we Gotcha, Meili!

    I am crying and doing a happy dance at the same time. I am so moved! The looks on your faces. You have truly both found who you were looking for and now never letting go!!
