Days 4 & 5..

Getting to know each other in our hotel and seeing some sights of Shanxi Province in China.  We are in a city similar in size to Chicago but with a lot more pollution. Check out the smog in the above picture!!  Meili is doing great and we are thankful to have itranslateVOICE app on the iPad for those moments when we just have absolutely no idea what each other is trying to say.
We had a little pedi spa in our hotel room -
She's very happy.... likes to hold the room key
First floor of our hotel has a "watch mall",  every brand of
watch you  can imagine, some we had never seen.

Hotel restaurant aquarium
Our nightly view
Brace Family at the Shanxi Jinci Pagodas
One, two, three, Wheeee!
Entrance to the Buddist temple
Andrew finding his inner self-
Miss M wants to wear her new sandals with
her pjs.  OK, no problem.

Tommorrow we finish up notary paperwork in Meili's province and visit the Shanxi Museum of History.  Then it's off to Guangzhou in the south for a week for US consulate appointment, medical tests, and other paperwork.
